Hello from the Eastern shores of Maryland! I’m Beth – proud military wife, great dane mama, HSN on-air personality, DIYer, and luckiest girl in the world to be able to play with paper and glue for a living.

My journey here wasn’t quite what you’d expect! I was a social worker for many years, specializing in early intervention for gang members. It was my life’s passion and when I had to stop (thank you frequent Army moves) I wasn’t sure where my path would take me. Through a series of incredible events I started working for a small company in the craft industry, which led me to Xyron, which led me to HSN. And the rest is history!

In August 2020 (because who doesn't start a new business in the middle of a pandemic?) I launched Kingston Crafts on HSN and it has been an incredible ride. I created Kingston Crafts for a variety of reasons - I am an avid scrapbooker and I saw a gap in the market for “back to basics” crafting supplies that were affordable, colorful and fun. My true passion though, is creating products that reflect the world around us, not just the traditional crafter.

Our paper doll collection is designed so people can see themselves reflected in their crafts and create projects that look like their families and community. Products like our ornament kits and our Kingston Dinkies (IYKYK) have given families easy accessible ways to craft together - away from computer screens and technology. The response we’ve had and the projects people share have brought me more joy than I could have imagined. We couldn't do any of this without our amazing community of customers and friends and are so incredibly grateful for the support!

We are thrilled and honored to be nominated for HSN's 2025 Small Business of the Year!

Kingston Crafts is proud to donate our HSN projects to Cards for Kindness -https://www.creativekindness.org/cfk-instructions
